Mississippi Agritourism Liability law

Under Mississippi law, there is no liability for an injury to or death of a participant in an agritourism activity conducted at this agritourism location if the injury or death results from the inherent risks of the agritourism activity. inherent risk of agritourism activities include, among others, risks of injury inherent to land, equipment and animals, as well as the potential for you or another participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death. you are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.

Back Forty Farm Rules and Safety

-NO Smoking/ vaping

-NO alcohol

-NO pets allowed on the farm. For the safety of our animals, we ask that you do not bring any pets to our farm.

-We also ask that you do NOT bring in any outside food or drinks as we have plenty of options for you to choose from at the waterin hole and Grazing station.

-no foul language This is a family-oriented farm, and we will not tolerate inappropriate language.

RESPECT OUR FARM!!! Failure to follow these rules will result in you being asked to leave WITHOUT A REFUND!!!!

We do not offer any refunds!!!!!!

Strollers and wagon are welcome. Please keep in mind this is a working farm and we do not have pavement or level ground.

Weather plays a big role in our daily events. If we decide to close before an event due to a certain amount of rainfall or other weather related reasonings we will post on our Facebook page. If we are forced to close during an event for the safety of our guest, employees, and animals we will not give a refund or rain check. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we have no control over mother nature.

Please keep in mind if we reach full capacity at any point our gates will be closed until some guest leave. We want everyone to enjoy there time at the farm and we know our limits. We will post as quickly as possible that we are temporarily shutting the gates and will repost as soon as gates open back up.

Respect our animals. Do not chase, ride, hit, or harass the animals. Do not try to spook the animals. We love our animals and treat them with respect. If you can’t do the same, we will ask you to leave the farm.

We have several hand washing stations we ask that you use them before and after visiting the animal area.

Play at your own risk. Not responsible for injuries. Adult supervision is required for all children on the playground.
